A Blog about Blogging – Real Estate 101

We are told by our web guru that these blogs must include lots of “key words” like lakeshore, residential, hunting property, acreage, commercial property, vacation homes, waterfront, blah, blah, blah to move us up on the search engines. However, except for cleverly sneaking some of those words in on occasion like I just did, that won’t be a primary focus of these missives. (As an English major, I will also sneak in a few words like missives from time to time.) What we do want to do, and what we will work very hard to do, is to inform and to explain and sometimes to entertain you (and ourselves) regarding terms and topics related to real estate. What’s a “C.D. ?” What are “points?” Why would I offer “seller concessions?” How do I “stage” my home? What’s involved in a “closing?” Why should I get “pre-qualified?” And why is “Zillow” so messed up? These are just a few of the topics that we will address as we attempt to become your “fountain of real estate knowledge,” your “dependable go-to place for real estate answers,” and your “A-Squad” of professional realty advice.
